REVEALED: How To Pass Your Driving Test The First Time
Driving Lessons In Taunton
What Is Your Driving Examiner Looking For?
Most learner drivers fail their driving test because they are not told how to pass and do not know what the driving examiner is looking for. When you are learning to drive you need more than just knowing how to drive and you need to know what safe driving is.
Now you will probably think “showing the examiner you are safe is good enough to pass.” But that is not strictly true, to demonstrate you are safe you also need to be in control of the car at all times and you need to demonstrate you are aware of your surroundings.
I want to give you an example. There you are on the test and reversing but your back tyre goes up the kerb. Ouch! Most pupils think they are going to fail, but if you were in control, aware of your surroundings and no one was in danger and you didn’ t hit anything, it doesn ‘t mean you have failed.
What you need to do is acknowledge the fault and correct it!
Understanding how to impress the examiner is going to help you pass first time and I will teach you this technique on your driving lessons with me.
I know right now it is difficult for you to tell the difference between a good driving school and a driving school you would prefer to avoid. So I decided to show you I am very confident with helping you pass your driving test, and first time, therefore I am giving you 3 guarantees.
My Money Back Guarantee
You will be happy to know that each of my driving lessons comes with a money back guarantee. This means you can get to know me without any risk on your wallet and it works like this. If you don’t like the lesson you are on or just finished, I will refund you.
I have the experience, knowledge and friendliness you need, so try me out.
Would you like to pass first time? I promise that if you don’t I will cover the cost of your next test. All I ask of you is to do the following. Pass your theory test inside 8 weeks of joining me. Take a 90 minute or 2 hour lesson every week, and if you miss a week due to holiday or illness etc I will ask you to make it up the following week. Regular lessons are really important for you, they help you learn quickly and you are able to learn more because you have the opportunity of retaining more knowledge.
You will need to take a mock test with me and to be an independent driver before you take your practical test, this means you can drive without the assistance support from me. When you book your test it has to be done with my knowledge prior to booking and you must have completed at least 35 hours of training, the national average is actually close to 50 hours of training. If you happen to fail you will need to take 5 hours of remedial lessons.
What I am asking for, is for you to be diligent and focused, I am not asking for anything more than that.
2 Year Driving Lesson Warranty
I’m giving you free refresher lessons…
Most driving schools are happy to let you leave the driving school after you have passed your test but I want to offer you a lot more. After you have passed your driving test it may be a few weeks until you drive again so maybe you want me next to you when you get going again. Or do you want me helping you in your new car because it will probably be different to mine. Each car is always slightly different to another, the controls, the all round vision, and the feel of the car such as the biting point on the clutch.
Whatever your need for a refresher lesson, I will give you up to 3 hours in the first year and 3 hours in the second year. The hours can’t be transferred into the following year, neither can they be sold. You must provide your own road legal and fueled vehicle, leaving us to find a date, time and location.
Passing Your Driving Test First Time
“How do I pass my driving test first time” is a very common question we get asked and this is the best and right advice to give you.
Firstly if you can’t really afford to start learning to drive, then don’t do it just yet. People who don’t have the money available often end up paying more money in the long run because there is a tendency to skip lessons and to try and pass the test before you are ready. It is far better just to hold back a little bit, save up and then take your driving lessons, you will need fewer lesson this way and have a better chance of passing first time.
As soon as you start taking driving lessons, look to pass your theory test as quickly as you possibly can. Your theory test is not just an obstacle for you to get over it is actually a great assistance to driving, and what you can learn by revising means you won’t need to learn in the car.
Our next piece of advice is for you to take at least 2 hours of lessons every week. If you skip a week try and make that week up, because the longer the time in between driving lessons the more you forget, and the last lesson starts to become not very worthwhile.
Two hours a week really is a minimum for you, if you can take a 2 hour lesson every 3 to 4 days you will learn very quickly and need fewer lessons overall. In short the less time you have in between your lessons the better it is for you. Ideally you would take a driving lesson every day, but that can be difficult to do for most people to achieve and is not always practical, however always keep in mind the fact you need to have less time in between lesson as possible so you can maximise savings.
In the lead up to your driving test you want to be 100% ready, you can’t cheat the system and having your fingers crossed won’t do the trick either. So before you go to the test we will make sure you can drive without the assistance of your driving instructor, you will demonstrate this by completing a progress report form and passing a mock test.
You will go into your driving test knowing you have the safe driving skills of being able to drive by yourself.
